The Haliburton Highlands is a dream come true, offering every winter activity you can possibly imagine. From ice fishing to dog sledding, come & experience a true winter wonderland.

  • Haliburton Nordic Trails
    You will find over 80 kms of high quality cross-country ski trails, a delightful treat for the cross country ski enthuisast. Halimar is a mhember of the Haliburton Nordic Association, we provide equipment on site.
    Trail passes: adults $10 / day & students $5 / day. Equipment rental: $15 / day to general public, (FREE for guests of Halimar Resort). For information on ski trails & conditions, contact 705-457-1640 or check out the web site.
  • Haliburton County Snowmobile Association
    Snowmobiling adventures can be found in the Highlands with over 300 kms of excellent wide groomed trails, & you can sled right from your cottage at Halimar unto trail # 7. (705)286-1722
  • For fantastic downhill skiing, these hills
    await, PLUS… snowboarders are welcome on all hills! It is located approximately 20 minutes from Halimar, with discounted trails passes available. (705) 754-2298

  • Haliburton Snowmobile Rentals
    Kennisis Lake Marina is Ontario’s largest snowmobile rental company offering current year sleds from multiple locations in the Haliburton and Muskoka regions. Located in Dwight on HWY 60 and Kennisis Lake at the Marina. From Halimar, you can sled right from your cottage at Halimar unto trail # 7.
